The Problem

For many middle and high school students around the country, attending college seems like an insurmountable goal. This is especially true for potential first generation college students. PEACE seeks to work with and encourages the Blount County youth to accomplish their dreams and to pursue a post-secondary education.

Plan of Action

PEACE has grown from a student club made up of about five students to a potential non-profit organization made up of about 30 college student volunteers and a board of directors composed of leading community memebers in Blount County.
