The Problem

Camp Cadet is a summer camp run by the Pennsylvania State Police, along with the help of the Marines and other law enforcement officers. It is designed to give kids aged 12-15 a positive relationship with law enforcement, while exposing them to law enforcement as a career. It gives graduates a sense of pride, discipline, teamwork, and self-worth. It also gives them all the tools they need to succeed in life! Plan of Action

Each year, about 100 cadets graduate the program. I have seen around 400 kids go through the program since I started volunteering there! I plan to continue working for the program and participating in fundraisers to keep it running (it is a non-profit organization). I also plan to continue my efforts to recruit as many cadets as possible!
