Pet Microchip Campaign

Pet Microchip Campaign plans on working closely with local animal shelters and veterinary clinics to make microchips inexpensive and convenient for the public. We would hold events in a variety of locations, from schools to shelters. The animal shelter that we work closely with is willing to pay for the microchips themselves, all we would need to do would be promotion for the campaign and for the local veterinary clinics who would be donating there time and money also. The profits from the events would go right back into advertising the next campaign. We would advertise on the local radio station, which is willing to donate some services for free. The numbers of animals in shelters would decrease, especially in the spring and summer months which are always the busiest because of animals getting outside.
