The Problem
I'm trying to bring some hope and joy to the children that are suffering from cancer or another dissorder/disease. The sadness in hospitals at times is unbearable. The children that spend enless nights in hospitals are living far from normal lives and something should be done to make them feel more comfortable and to take their minds off of the stressful situations that are taking over their lives.
Plan of Action
I plan to set up an organization that is able to create kits for children in the hospital that are battling cancer or some other problem. The kits will be called PICU Ups or "pick you ups"(the anogram for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is pronounced "pi-que" which is the orgin for the name). I hope to sread some love with these packages, starting at the Childeren's Hospital of Philadelphia (where my sister was treated) and spreading to other hospitals as well.
