The Problem

We're trying educate and make people aware of the Filipino American history because Filpino Americans in America's history books are never mentioned. Filipino Americans are also unaware of their own cultural identity so we're trying to educate them about their roots by showing an engaging story line and a series of Filipino Cultural dances during the play.

Plan of Action

we have to advertise our idea for people to come. once we have a set amount of people, we all choose a story line unanimously. once the story line is chosen we go into story development and character creation. once we have those, we develop the characters even more and work more on the story line. after 6 months, we work do auditions and casting. we then go through a series of acting exercises and more character development. We then go through rehearsals day by day by day non stop for almost 8 hours. by the end of it all we've made almost over 7 revisions of the script and over 2 weeks of careful picking of who plays what role. And just for 2 nights, we show the world what we have accomplished in this year long process.
