Plant a tree to help reduce polution

We live in a dessert area. There are many people that drive everyday to work for many miles. However, there is so much pollution; very few people are concerned about it. I am one of them and that is why I plant trees when I can. Even though it is not much the difference when I do plant, because the pollution is more than what my little trees can do. I think that is a good start. I am from Colombia and I am used to see everything green and blooming. I know we live in a different environment; however, we need to preserve it. If we plant trees in parks and our back yards we will reduce the pollution and it will not fight it all but it will be a good start to contribute to Mother Nature.
