The Problem

I am trying to solve the problem of the inappropriate use of the R-word and spread awareness about people with intellectual disabilities. On February 5th, 2011 a team of 8 students and teachers from Yoncalla High School went to Eugene, Oregon and participated in the Polar Plunge. My team raised over $1,400 for local people with intellectual disabilities.

Plan of Action

I plan to put together a team every year to raise money and participate in one of the local Polar Plunges.
