We are located in North Carolina and presently in 3 cities (Greensboro, Burlington and Statesville) and we are reaching out to youth and their families to help overcome barriers to success. In particular we focus on family bonding, workforce development, youth development and basic needs. We want to help families out of poverty by empowering them to break down all barriers that stand in their way!

We have 7 components: 1. Food Pantry and Outreach Center - provides emergency food and clothes for families in need. 2. Restoration Hair Salon and Barber Shop - provides free image makeovers to help young people improve their self-esteem by taking pride in their physical appearance. 3. Jobs for Life - provides workforce mentoring and training to help individuals that find it difficult to obtain and maintain employment. 4. Youth Development - our AllStars Program is an afterschool program designed to help young people develop the interpersonal qualities that lead to a successful adult life. We also offer tutoring and school supplies. 5. Hearts to Hands - We help families during the major holidays to enjoy the season and each other by eliminating the worry of providing food and other holiday embellishments (toys during Christmas, turkey at Thanksgiving etc.) 6. Steps Home - we help families obtain their first home by connecting them local, state and federal programs and by teaching home ownership classes. 7. Family Fun Night - Each 4th friday we celebrate the family by hosting families from public housing in an evening of food, fun and friendships. We also provide Movie Night and Family Literacy Night.

We have created a grassroots organization by soliciting volunteers from all walks of life and creating an organization that seeks first to establish respectful relationships with people and them partner with them to overcome barriers they are facing that get in the way of their success.

We need donations of the following: Money (of course) A refrigerator Children's books Professional Hair Care Products Family games and gifts School Supplies (back packs, pencils etc.) Volunteers in and around our community Food donations (Critical NEED) Gently used Career Clothing and Children's clothing (in season, clean and on hangers PLEASE).
