The Problem

Power To Be was founded on its mission to enrich the health, education and quality of life for vulnerable youth, adults, families and the communities in which they belong. We achieve this by providing a unique and inclusive year-round outdoor education curriculum that promotes physical heath and emotional well-being, advocates for accessibility, develops interpersonal and leadership skills, teaches environmental and social stewardship, offers peer mentorship and supports vocational opportunities.

Plan of Action

At Power To Be we take a truly holistic approach to Health, Education and The Environment- an approach that is unpretentious, down-to-earth and values-driven. Embedded in our key programs is a curriculum that promotes physical heath and emotional well-being, advocates for accessibility, develops interpersonal and leadership skills, teaches environmental stewardship and social responsibility, offers peer mentorship and supports vocational opportunities. Since our inception in 1998, we have helped more than 3000 participants to learn and grow in nature.
