Project Enable provides challenged clients with personalized solutions to accomplish common tasks. Many of our clients find that off-the-shelf items need to be modified or redesigned. We do this with them. We also engage with clients to design and build individualized tools and gadgets. Our solutions involve robotic and computer controlled solutions where necessary. Current projects we are working on: -A motorized wheelchair lift for the San Jose Peace Center -A vacuum operated prosthesis helper -A walker that is resistant to getting caught in potholes -A mechanically operated door knob opener -A motorized milk jug porer Are group consists of professors and students at San Jose State university, but we are trying to expand.
