The Problem
A lot of times, people or organizations try to put on events and try them repeatedly but are often uncessful. I just really believe that many event planners are not exploring all of their options when it comes to determining how successful the event was in the end. We created a facebook event page(Im still trying to retrieve.)
Plan of Action
We successfully did this project by following a set timeline in which we stuck to and communicating with each other effeciently and effectively on a daily basis. We strived to inform all those in the group of our whereabouts and all those on the outside to attend the event.
1. Discuss the our goals and objectives.
2. Create a timeline of what to do and when to do the tasks and allocate the duties among fellow collegues.
3. Create a budget of what the costs are going to be and what would be donated to weigh costs and benifits.
4. Meet on set dates to discuss changes and innovate new ideas to attract people to participate and come.
5. Put on the event as planned.
6. Subsequent meeting to dicuss ways to implement our findings so that the event would be more successful in the future.
7. Create a powerpoint of this entire process.
8. Do all that is neccessary to implement our findings.
(I do have the timeline, budget, goals and objectives sheet, and the powerpoint for all to see!)
