The Problem

***Raise awareness about eating disorders -To put an end to society's impossible standards of beauty by helping girls see that there is more than one definition of true beauty -To show that full recovery IS possible -To act as a support system -To learn to embrace their perceived flaws and ‘imperfections'. -raise funds for people struggling with eating disorders to revive scholarship for treatment -put an end to society's impossible standards of beauty

Plan of Action

I am the Co-Founder of the New Jersey Chapter of Project HEAL. I plan and host several events a year with my co-founder to raise funds for people in need to apply for scholarships for treatment. I also plan events at local schools and a childrens hospital I volunteer at (Children's Specialized Hospital in new Brunswick) to raise awareness, promote positive body image and self love (and empowerment). I want to be a role model and support system to those struggling through Project HEAL NJ.
