The Problem

Currently there are over 30,000 child soldiers that have been abducted and forced to participate in the work in Northern Uganda. Invisible Children is a non-profit organization that helps rebuild the war-torn schools and get the former child soldiers back into schools with mentors and support. http://www.invisiblechildren.com/theMission/the_education_program

Plan of Action

Previously this project has been in the planning stages. Now that I have most of the details worked out, I am ready to put this project into motion. I have started making bracelets and other jewelry that are for sale via the Project InvisiKids Facebook page or email, and I am also trying to schedule a screening for my community. Other fundraisers will be coming soon. And of course, I will be setting collection jars out as soon as I get home.
