The Problem

Project Purify raised money to construct a water purification system in the village of Mumba, Tanzania. The citizens of Mumba are drinking water straight out of the river. The system we purchased will filter out everything from sticks and dirt to deadly microbes and bacteria.

Plan of Action

We put on a benefit concert in the summer of 2010, and raised over $3700, more than enough to purchase and send the pump to Tanzania.
