The Problem

I want to provide brand new gloves/mittens, knit hats, and socks to homeless babies and children by donating these items to multiple homeless shelters in the Atlanta area. In the cold winter of Atlanta, much of the population of homeless babies and children is cold and without these items. Gloves, knit hats, and socks are three items that are most asked for on many wishlists of homeless shelters. However, these items are also items that get donated and provided less than other winter clothing items such as coats.

Plan of Action

I plan to apply for a grant. If the grant application is accepted, I will take the money and use it to purchase brand new socks, gloves/mittens, and knit hats. I will buy these items in bulk so it will be cheaper. Once the items are delivered to me, I will distribute the items to various homeless shelters in the Atlanta area.
