Punahou Key Club
the problem:
Punahou Key Club overall attempts to better the community of Hawai'i through service. A student led organization, students address the problems in the community such as education and illiteracy, and hunger and homelessness. An international community service organization, students in secondary schools participate in Key Club. As club Historian in 11th grade, I led one project a month, and created the scrapbook for convention. I am President of the Punahou School Key Club.

300why it's important:
A great portion of my life consists of Key Club because I devote myself to community service. Not only does community service appeal to me for its moral satisfaction, but it also can be a great way to meet new people and to have fun. Community service is important to me for many different reasons. When I'm working with children, I hope to help, in some small way that I can, to ensure the education of the future generation of Hawai'i. Hunger and homelessness is an extreme problem that Hawai'i faces, and through food drives and breakfast servings, as well as donations and drives, I can help corral a positive change in their lives.
the plan of action:
I have organized the Punahou Key Club in many ways. I manage the correspondence amongst all the 300+ club members for meetings and projects. I also seek out projects in the community to participate in, and to offer to my Key Club members to participate in.
