Punish The Deed; Don't Punish The Breed

the problem:

Through my Rottweilers, I am making people understand that "vicious" breeds are true. A dog is not born mean, the owners make them that way. Through my Rotty famiy members, I would like to set a good example for "mean" breeds across the nation.

why it's important:

This cause is important to me because I have heard countless times that I should have a barb-wire fence up for those beasts, or people are instantly intimidated by by furry family members. I would like everyone to realize that the breed should not be punished, the deed should be punished.

the plan of action:

I am going to show people that Rottweilers and other "vicious" breeds are loving and sweet. I am going to make a good example out of my dogs and make an impact in many peoples lives.

how you can get involved:

Others can help by taking a stand as well, they can raise awareness with me and beside their furry family members. We have to stand up for these animals because they are unable to stand up for themselves.

project updates:

11/20/2009

Things are still going great. I am looking into getting my furry family members certified as service workers. PetCo offers a program that will teach then exceptional behavior and service.
I think that for a "vicious" breed, this would be a great example for them to set.
