The Problem

Noles for Haiti, a collegiate organization, was founded after the Haitian earthquake as a way to relentlessly grow in passion, compassion, and awareness for Haiti. We directly support a beautiful orphanage of 150 wonderful children, many with disabilities. We raise money for the orphanage and also for a local school, and our members travel to Haiti to love in action.

Plan of Action

Noles for Haiti needs volunteers. We need amazing people to go to Haiti and to come back and bring amazing people to Haiti the next time. We raise money only for our orphanage, so students must pay their own way to Port-Au-Prince. We would throughly benefit from a scholarship program which sponsors one or two of our students to travel with our summer or winter break teams to be a guest of Haiti. A guest is someone who receives hospitality, and we firmly believe we are guests of Haiti, treated wonderfully by our Haitian friends, but we are not saviors of Haiti. Guests leave a place better than when they arrived, and give something in return.
