The Problem

Developmentally; queer-identified youth face more challenges that affect their mental health and physical well-being then their heterosexual counterparts. Such negative experiences can become worse if their world does not allow for expression or when they are persecuted for this expression. The recent incidents of youth committing suicide as a result of bullying has moved many to respond with messages of hope aimed at those who need to hear it; in an effort to bridge the gap.

Plan of Action

The overall goal of is to provide local queer youth a safe and sober space away from a society that abuses their identity and give them a chance to express themselves in a variety of community building activities.
