The Problem

Little Angels Day Care Orphanage -Little Angels is a local start-up day care orphanage center located in Thaba Bosiu, Lesotho. There are 35-40 children who attend, all of whom are orphans. Little Angels offers free pre-school as well as medical care as needed and each child receives two meals a day. There are practically no Western resources given to Little Angels because it is locally run and operated. Need: Rain Water Collection Tank • The water Little Angels currently uses is from a polluted river, approximately ¼ of a mile away. • Little Angels needs clean drinking water, as well as water closely accessible. • A newly built drip irrigation system needs a constant supply of clean water for the garden. www.bloomafrica.org/projects

Plan of Action

We have created a website with detailed information on Little Angels as well as what we intend to provide them. We have corresponded with the people who operate Little Angels, and they have expressed their need. We have created videos, asking people to donate, that we will unveil in the coming weeks. We also will be holding fundraisers to attempt to raise some initial funds towards the project. Considering we are in our very early stages, we are trying to grow our base of supporters before we go on a fundraising push. We have twitter, facebook and youtube accounts that allows our followers to stay informed.
