the problem:
I want more people to be aware of the Gay community at my school. Im trying to get the Gay's voice to be heard. I dont want them to be afraid to be who they are. Im proud to be out but i dont know if others are and I really dont want them to be ashamed.

0why it's important:
As a Bi-sexual student I have seen some discrimination a my school. There have been many times that I myself have been called a "Dyke". Almost 2 years or so ago a kid I knew killed himself becuase he was being called a "Fag". That's what got me thinking about how cruel people are. Thats why it took so much out of me to come out, I dont want others to be like that.
the plan of action:
First off I want to be able to get enough people to help me start a fundraiser. Then I would like to make either some jelly bracelets or T-shirts. After I get enough people to support then maybe i could throw a party or a get-together. I want to try to get as many people active as possible because not very many people spport Gays.
how you can get involved:
Just by joining your showing your support for the Gay community. Others can also help donate the money to buy the T-shirts I'm trying to make, but I can't do that if I dont have the money to. Even a dollr is helping out.

I feel ya! I am a pansexual and have been working my tail off in my school to encourage kids to love and accept themselves and guiding them through the coming out process. It is far from easy, but well worth it.
