The Monroe Area School for the Performing Arts, INC. (MASPA) is dedicated to the nurture of the Fine Arts and exposing them to the folks in Monroe, Louden, and McMinn counties. The school strives to accomplish this in three ways: (1) Providing quality Fine Arts education to children and adults in the tri-county area. (2) Providing performance opportunities to interested children and adults, while providing the community at large with affordable Fine Arts entertainment. (3) Taking Fine Arts education and performance into the area schools to allow school age students an opportunity to experience the Fine Arts first hand. The MONROE ARE SCHOOL FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS, INC. is a Tennessee Non-Profit Corporation and a federally designated non-profit coporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The primary fundraising focus of MASPA is to obtain money for a scholarship fund that will enable local students with insufficient financial means to study the fine arts.
