The Problem

Our students have created a rise above plastics solution based powerpoint that they have shared to over 45 schools and businesses around Los Angeles. They want the message of refusing single use plastics to be spread all throughout the state of California and then the country.

Plan of Action

Our student leaders held a student speaker training where they trained 15 students from an all girls high school outside of Los Angeles to give the presentation to schools around their neighborhood. We walked them through the presentation, gave them tips on how to present, gave them a bag of solutions, and taught them how to find presentations.
