The Problem
India does not have a public education in place, instead children have to pay around 100 rupees per month to go to school. However, a lot of families in India are very poor, and have a hard time making money to feed their children. So, education goes into the trashcan.
We want to help bring these children into school. We have found seven children, and teens who want to further their education but do not have the resources to do so. By providing them with money, we could help them make a better life for themselves and their families.
In the future we plan on building a school for poor children.
Plan of Action
We are hosting a fundraising dinner in late February. We will then send over the money to India, and continue to find more children to sponsor.
