the problem:
I would like to start a group for for kids from 12 to 19. Educate them about drugs, sex, abuse education,and ect. that occures in every day life as we know trough acting. To express them selves and their opinions through speech and body language. I would like the group to travel and share their acts in the community and abroad while educating them and reaching out to others that may have problems similar to the scenes.

You could do this to reach your community and many have something like this.
Here at our schools and I watched it one year and it is called if I remember right, The Bubbylonian Encounter.
It has to do with people dressed a little spacey and they are trained counselors and teachers acting out about the wrong kind of touch and what to do about it.
It is to bring it out so kids go back to their class and as the counselor comes in a child may open up about abuse in the home of any kind especially the wrong touch.
Yes this is a good idea but trained personal is a must.
Organization is all I can say and research.
We are talking about children here even though they are no small ages you talk of and the ones the program here targeted was for elementary.
We also have the D.A.R.E. program ran by a police officer for drugs also a trained perosn.
I worked in pre-schools and child development centers and the director participated once in this acting program for the children.
Really good idea for your community but training before you do it.
Very touchy subjects and you must know how to relate.
I have taken classes on these subjects.
Never ever try to educate someone on some thing until you are fully educated on the subject or have had training.
You need to be prepared for the reaction this brings out of people.
I have also been a volunteer for the state working with some of the clients they had on medicaid.
I also worked for another community resource agency.
I know, I have had training and worked it.

My name is Margaret and I'm 13 years old
my parents are currently going through divorce due to the fact that my father physically and emotionally abused my family
i learned the hard way about abuse
my whole life i lived with my father's abuse but i didn't know it was abuse until someone came and talked to my class about things such as abuse, drugs, and sex
I lived 12 years w/out knowing it
and I don't want someone to go on that long like me with the stress and the pain
so take a stand and don't back down
