Reaching Japanese Youth

the problem:

The youth of Japan have many problems forced on them through the society they live in. Many can't live up to the high expectations that have been set for them and some do what they call "withdraw" and cease to be members of society. I feel, if I could show them some hope that Jesus brings into people's lives, they could learn that there is more to life then grads.

why it's important:

It is important to me because I feel that God has called me to these people. Only 2% of the Japanese population even knows about Jesus. I have a chance to truly represent Christ to them and show them many things.
Many people in the US seem to be worn out by the followers of Jesus who don't practice what they preach. This has closed the hearts and minds of many people. Yet in Japan, there is a smaller exposure to Jesus, so I can go and preach to people who haven't heard it all their lives.

the plan of action:

My plan of action is school first.
As this will be a long term project, I will have to learn Japanese to at least a bachelors level. When that is done, will move to Japan and begin trying to set up a ministry.

how you can get involved:

If anyone will be in Japan once everything is up and running, I'm sure we would be able to use anyone's help with many differant events.
