Reaching Out to India

Religious disrimination and help getting clean water. My dad and I one day found this pastor in India that really wanted to finish the church that they started about a year ago. They had no help from the community they lived in because they're Christians. My family and I moved here in America 6 years ago. We've faced religious discrimination also for being Christians and we're one of the lucky ones for living here in America and have freedom and are able to attend church. We decided to creat a project and raise $800 to send to A.immanuel Benjamine, the paster, so they could finish the church. We've raised $1,000 from individuals and $2,800 on Thanksgiving. When we told him how much we had raised he cryed like a little kid for 15 minutes when we were skyping. With the money, they succesfully finished the church and now are saving the rest to buy a big tank that filters water so they could have clean water. They also bought a big bag of rice for all the families in their town with the money we send. I'm planning on going to India this summer along with my dad. We're raising money to take with us to help families that are sick and are in needs.
