Reading with Royalty

Project Reading with Royalty was amazing! We were able to get the Birlington Library to host our event. They contacted the Boys & Girls Club so that we could read to them. We had about 10 girls and one boy come to read with 3 of the Dizney Debutantes. The Dizney Debutante East President, Byrgundy Mallory, meet for a business with the Library Staff to introduce the DoSomething Program to them. They love the idea so much that they was able to get Krogers to sponsor Disney Lunch boxes, Cinderella pens. Each Dizney Debutante member was able to give our "Royal Guest" Goody Bags and Autographs. They also donated tons of books for storytelling time. A Cinderella Series and Fairy Series were also donated to the library so that they have plenty of books to read to the whole community. Every librian, parent,teacher, and parental guest that attended was giving a scarecrow and a "Thank You Note" for helping this event successful. The library would like for us to come and do more to help them! Each debutante also provided a "Bragg Table"! They were able to put their acheivements on display and show the younger kids what they could become with hard work! We had a blast and the community loved it!
