Red Zone

We want to provide a visual idea, and help understand the seriousness of the critical matters that persists to prolong in Somalia. We want to document, and spot the lifelong struggle of young, homeless children that live in the streets of Somalia, mothers who aren’t equipped to raise their children, and the struggle for food and water amongst the survivors. We want to convey the real import of Human rights, and its vital needs in the areas that we visit. We want to use the documentary tapes to further educate and expand the knowledge of those who are blinded, and are congested in confined “world.” Somalia is truly forgotten and abandoned by the world, and its death toll is no surprise to many natives. We want to bring a lucid consciousness to our viewers/supporters, and with the documentaries that we are planning to construct, will also hopefully assist us map our long term goals. While documenting these areas, and its desperate people –we will bring back several of needed items that has been kindly donated by friends and family. We will also hold several fundraisings, in various cities in the US (car wash, door-to-door, t-shirt sales, concerts etc) which is planned out for the year of 2010.
