The Problem

My dad was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in October 2007. He has undergone both radiation and chemotherapy but sadly his cancer has returned. He is now undergoing radiation treatments again and he will start chemotherapy in the near future. I go to as many doctors appointments that I can so I can help support my dad. This past summer I went with my dad to everyone of his radiation treatments: 22 in total.

Plan of Action

With the help of my parents I was able to raise money by returning soda cans and bottles. My neighbors donated the cans/bottles. My mom helped me to send emails to the employees of my school district. The employees of the Peekskill City School District donated over $1000 to my relay team. I was able to recruit my aunt and uncle, cousins and friends to be part of my team.
