The Problem

Button Up America is the leader in identifying needs and bringing together all kinds of resources and services for all children and young adults with behavioral issues, low-income families and at-risk youth in the county to support full long-term community inclusion and participation. Specifically, Button Up America Teen Entrepreneur Center will lead in a collaboration with the Board of Education, local businesses, community organizations and programs in the county and from surrounding areas, as appropriate, in identifying needs and gaps in services; Our mission is to inspire, empower and prepare youth for the future.

Plan of Action

Successful implementation of a well developed strategic plan will result in more quality supports and services delivered to youth, families and communities. More families welcomed in the community and actively involved in community life, and a broader array of resources in the community valuing and supporting youth employment, teen entrepreneurs, sports and athletic training etc. What Button Up America aspires to achieve is far beyond high quality supports and services for teen entrepreneurs; It is about changing community conditions that make full community life possible for every person with the increased use of design, technology, sports and performing arts.
