The Problem
Me and my close friends who always helped me to put on past benefit concerts, we all wanted to help two dear teachers at our past high school and current. I graduated in the year of 2008, but I was still close to home going to college still down in charleston, sc. These two teachers had their second child, but soon after his birth, "Logan Ried McCombs," was found to have a brain tumor. With the idea brought up to me to have a benefit concert again at Stratford High, since I came up with the idea of the previous year, for my dear friend "Brittany Riffe," who was in a car accident and paralyzed. The plan was to help the family with medical expenses and show the support and love we had for our dear friends, the McCombs.
Plan of Action
Our plan of action was the usual for our previous benefit concerts. To promote it as much as we could and get as most people involved. To also get bands that were going to attract a diverse, but a vast amount of people. Another plan of action was to bang down the doors of the media. We were able to get it all over the schools newspapers, the local newspapers, regional newspapers, radio stations, the internet, local news stations, etc.
Also to get my dear friend, Ryan Neal and his sound business to do the sound again for free, like the "Brittany Riffe" concert, so there was virtually no expenses.
