We have not began the project due to lack of funds. We are currently fundraising to raise money for this project.

the problem:
Many domestic violence victims often seek refuge from their abusers, but are afraid to let go of their pet so they remain in a harmful situation.A local domestic violence shelter has become the first agency in California to offer shelter to pets.

It's important to our club that these victims get the neccesarry help and they are able to take their complete family with them to a safe enviorment.
the plan of action:
Our plan of action is to raise enough money so we can purhcase supplies to build dog houses and donate them to the shelter.Our club willl decorate the dog houses and host a dog food drive here on our school campus.

Others can help provide donations, building suppplies,dog food,dog toys,and their time will make a differnce in our project.
