The Problem

In Sacramento California there is nothing that teenagers feel they can do for fun and to let out energy. This leads to teens being bored indoors, and giving into bad decisions such as drugs and alcohol. Sacramento - Teens Against Peer Pressure gives these teens events to attend as an alternative to giving into drugs and alcohol. Also, most of our events are outdoors so we are giving teens more opportunity to exercise than before. Lastly, our organization has also started a community service division that shows our community that teenagers can contribute to society on issues that are important to them.

Plan of Action

My plan of action is to continue to host 2-3 events every month and take ideas from the teenage community and let our board of directors plan these events. These events give teens something to do. For the future, we plan on making our events bigger and better. We also plan on doing more community service events to let the community know that teenagers are a force to be reckoned with.
