The Problem

The PALCS Students Against Destructive Decisions chapter is looking to empower, motivate, and inspire students to be the best people that they can be. When we grow and learn in life, though, there are bumps in the road to aid these learning processes that are destructive decisions. Destructive decisions may be using drugs or alcohol, having unprotected sex, being a poor student, or simply something like unhealthy eating habits. We recognize that these destructive decisions will occur, and people will make mistakes. It is our job to mitigate the effects of these problems before they happen by having presentations on the various areas of healthiness.

Plan of Action

We hold presentations that students can attend twice a year; once around March or April, and once around prom. We are also looking to expand our operation by working in conjunction with other organizations within our school, so that there is a diverse unity and solidarity.
