The Problem

Safe Ride provides free and nonjudgmental rides home for college students in the Denton, Texas area. Our goal is to provide a safe and convenient way for people to get home, and to avoid drinking and driving. We aim to prevent accidents and keep our streets safe.

Plan of Action

Safe Ride has been operating for 20 months now, since January of 2010. We have given over 1000 rides home in that time. We have recently became a non-profit corporation and we are seeking more funding to expand our operations and the services that we can offer to the community.
