The Problem

The project is two-fold to solve the problem of limited education opportunities in poor communities and charge the mostly stagnant expat community to DO SOMETHING. Goals - 1)To educate children in slums/poor communities in Bangkok. 2)To expose expats in Bangkok with opportunities to contribute back to society.

Plan of Action

I am already teaching in one location near a slum. I want to expand to two more locations before the end of the year. To do this I need to keep fundraising and recruit volunteers who are committed to the project. Hiring a native Thai speaker may also be necessary to help build the necessary relationship with the communities.
