Save a pup

I am with Lucky Puppy Rescue located in Denham Springs La. The goal of our group is to take in sick and abandoned dogs and cats to heal them and find them loving forever homes. There are so many abuse and neglect cases here in our city and even more right outside out city limits. The shelter here in Denham Springs does not take animals outside of the city limits so there is a great need volunteers and funding. We are a small group of people and have been working so hard to change this problem. Spaying and neutering is our best way to slow down the number of unwanted animals. We really are doing the best we can but we really need help. We would like to to more like visit schools to help teach kids while they are young how important it is to care for animals in the proper ways. We would love to raise awareness and getting a grant would be the blessing we need to do it.
