We are performing at the Valley Center public library this Wednesday, the 9th! It's free to attend, and the entire library will be filled with music. Please come and support music in our schools! -Lauren Owensby
Save the Arts
the problem:
We are dedicated to saving the arts in Valley Center, and promoting the fine arts throughout San Diego. Education has been hit hard by the recession, and the kids who do not have the fine arts in their education are at a huge disadvantange when they apply for college.

26why it's important:
This is important to me because I have seen firsthand how music and art can improve a student's life, give them self-confidence, and make school easier. I want everyone to have these same opportunities- not just assume that they know about them.
the plan of action:
Through creating music and art clubs and organizations, finding sponsors and performing at every possible venue, we are doing everything we can to keep the arts alive. We advertise everywhere we go, and encourage underacheiving students to express their artistic side and connect it to their schoolwork, becoming more succesful. You can see some of our projects above.
how you can get involved:
Save the arts in your community! Start an organization, put on a talent show, put up posters, write letters to your local congressmen/women, and convince your community that letting the arts disappear will cause a debt that our generation will have to pay for!
