In the month of september 2007, I was in the holocaust class watching the video "invisible children" and i decided that I wanted to educate the world about the current events happening. I contacted my teacher and asked her if I could borrow the video. My mission was to educate the world about what is happening in Darfur. I asked my church for permission to show the viewing at the church and to raise money. They agreed that would be a good idea, eventually we ordered food and got activities together. I made flyers and passed it around town.I sang and the kids performed an interpretive dance.We also showed a slide about the transition form American to Africans. I showed how the americans were healthy and africans were suffering. I all I raised a total of 400 dollars and counting.
