The Problem

I am trying to do whatever I can to get my community to recognize the importance of giving back to those in Japan struck by the tsunami last Spring. I wanted to make it more than just a money donation, which is why I created t-shirts that they could wear and further spread the word!

Plan of Action

I designed the image myself and ordered 50 t-shirts at a local printing company to be sold to my classmates, teachers, friends and my father's co-workers. My assistant principal, my peers, along with many teachers chose a day to wear them all at once and the impact was incredible. It became a topic of discussion and many were interested in the cause, which led to more t-shirt sails and more money to donate to the cause.
