I live behind several fields of paint horses and every year I've been wondering where they're all going. This year I found out that they've all been getting sold to slaughter. Slaughtering horses in the US for food purposes is illegal, but they are going out of the country so I decided I had to try and save them.
Believe It
I work as an intermediary between the owner of the horses and anyone interested in taking them. My main objective is to find homes for all of the horses.
Build It
I made videos and put them up on youtube (search for Kaifyre50) and with the help of my friends managed to spread the word about these beautiful animals. So far the response has been huge; at least 34 have been saved so far!!
How Can Others Get Involved?
Watch the videos and send them out to eveyone you know - even if you're not interested in taking one of them, spreading the word helps so much!!
