School Cooperation

To make smarter driving I would get the school clubs and certain classes involved. You could get the drama kids to perform a play as part of a grade or an extra-curricular. The play would be as funny as possible but it would promote good driving and give a negative image of bad driving. The Art kids could make banners and put them all over the school. They would make them big and colorful and give a good message. They would have funny cartoons, and funny pictures to get the message across. The photographers could act out scenes or get models and stuff to show the consequences of not driving safe. The reporters/writers could use their imagination to create a story or scenario of a particular person driving bad and exaggerate a story line of what happens and they would work with the newspaper people and post it for the whole school the read. Another group would be the volunteers. My school has a Key Club that I think would do it. They could make roses or even buy roses and go to a local grocery store and hand them out to people with a ribbon on them saying "Learn Smart Driving". They could also collect donations to support their cause. If a school has a video crew they could make a comedy movie and coordinate that with the actors, or the Acting class and perform something along the lines of the drama kids or the writers to show good driving and bad driving and consequences. They could make the movie intense showing how some girl killed her best friend or something by getting drunk one night and driving home. It would show how she lost everything and families are disappointed and such. They could get creative. They could coordinate this with the reporters/writers stories even and we could have the whole school working together on this service project.
