The Problem

Many teenagers across America and around the world suffer from self-detrimental thoughts, depression, and self-harm. These students in need could be greatly helped if they knew how many people were "on their side". Show your support of students struggling with depression on National Self-Harm Awareness day.

Plan of Action

On March 1, 2013, wear the color orange to show your support. Orange ribbons, orange shirts, orange hair coloring, whatever you have! Also, drawing butterflies on your wrists or putting duct tape over your mouth are other ways to show your support. Finally, spread the word! Announce to your school how important this day is to those who feel unwanted.
