COMMUNITY CENTER, NEEDS A COMMUNITY

the problem:

I'm trying to solve the problem of self esteem on gang violence and one on one violence. I'm trying to solve the actions being taken place in my community. The community I live in is just so unsafe for me and for other families. I'm just tired of the actions and the non belief of loss of self help in my community!

why it's important:

This problem that I'm trying to fix is very important to me because I'm just so into helping out the community and into making things not all the way perfect but a safer environment for other lives that come into this community!

the plan of action:

In the summer of 2009 I did a internship that was built to be a senator's office and gang violence community center...I did the internship that that will help better me and help better my community. I just wanted me to keep a contact and still help my education and also the communities education. All that I know now is that what we built in our community center is a great start and it has a great impact on others that come in... so I want to cherish that and carry on the tradition for now on.
