The Problem

Providing quality refurbished USA computers and critical follow-up services to schools in Africa where there are only 16 PCs for every 1,000 people. We are currently working in the former war zone of Northern Uganda a region with tens of thousands of former child soldiers and other victims of the insurgency.

Plan of Action

We built the program using the input of African beneficiaries and electronic recycling experts in the USA. In Omaha we refurbish the PCs into quality labs and raise funds to provide 2-week maintenance and repair training and Internet connection for 24 African schools - 12,000 students and staff - a year. We now have 80 schools in the former war zone of Northern Uganda (our latest focus) helping tens of thousands of former child soldiers and other victims of the insurgency.
