The Problem

My local area is fairly limited in what it offers for people with disabilities. The sensory trail that we are trying to build at our local Nature Center (Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo) will benefit people from many walks of life. People with vision and hearing impairments, wheelchair, developmentally delayed, and autism as well as, completely able body people and so many more can enjoy the enriching environment created by a sensory trail.

Plan of Action

Right now we are working on putting together an advisory group to make sure the trail is as safe and beneficial as possible. We will have clear and build up the trail and put in guiding ropes before we put in the activity stations. Be before we can really work on the trail we need donations and sponsors.
