The Problem

Our Interact Club has decided that we are going to raise money and buy a Shelter Box as an International Project to help give Natural Disaster victims a second chance at life. It is hard to imagine losing everything; your home, lively hood, family members, etc. Rotary International has supported Shelter Box for the past 11 years. As a club branching off of Rotary (Interact) we are determined to buy a Shelter Box ($1,000) so it can help a family in need!

Plan of Action

Our plan of action is to do fundraisers to get to our goal of $1,000. One of our plans for a fundraiser is called Birthday Balloon Wishes. This would be were, for only $5 parents in our school community can buy there child a Birthday Wish. We would then come into the child's classroom at the end of the day, give them a bouquet of balloons, and have the class sing them Happy Birthday. We also plan to do a car wash in the Spring. In addition, we plan to try to do a gift wrapping out side of a store a few times during the holiday shopping season.
