S.H.OUT

the problem:

S.H.OUT stands for Students Helping Out.
This is a club I started a few months ago, comprised of about 30 kids from my school. We work together on projects to better our own community, but have also reached out to global causes.

Our club has been very successful for the small amount of time it has existed. Our projects include making blankets out of fabrics scraps and donating them to a local homeless shelter, holding a bake sale and donating the proceeds to Feed the Children, and hosting a school dance to benefit the Rainforest Action Network.

More is on the way though. We hope to host a yard sale and donate the proceeds to local animal shelters, and we will also hold a sign up sheet for students interested in participating in the March of Dimes, which benefits research on helping premature babies.
