Since Equatorial Guinea has no mail system, we had to figure out another way to get supplies into the schools that we chose as recipients. We went through the governmental levels, and met with various people in several different ministries. We also met with the heads of several oil companies, and have arranged for all supplies to be included in oil company shipments that are sent over on boats. Once in country, we have another group that will deliver them to the schools, and take pictures, which will be sent back to us so that they can be included in thank you cards. We are working in collaboration with Books for Bioko to make sure that supplies end up in schools, and not in corrupt government hands.
